Leopard Rock Lodge Meru

Leopard Rock Lodge is a safari lodge bordering the Murera springs. It overlooks a tropical river, habitat of hippos, crocodiles and a large bird species. It is surrounded by palms, wild fig trees and euphorbia’s. It was founded by George & Joy Adamson famous for baby lioness that was brought up and released at the Tana River Place.

Accommodation

Leopard Rock Lodge provides 15 en suite cottages individually styled in safari design. They all overlook the bush, river and the widespread bird life. Guests can relax at the ‘Boma’ that overlooks a watering hole where animals come to cool down. They include hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, leopards, hippos, elephants and gerenuks. They also have the option of sun downers, game drives in open safari vehicles, guided walking safaris and a deep in the exclusive swimming pool.

The Lodge is completely open to the wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to hear the roar of lions during the night, a truly magical moment. We pride ourselves of having created a strong relationship with the wildlife. Nevertheless, Leopard Rock Lodge is completely secure thanks to their professionally trained guards.

Conference/ Meeting Facilities

 Leopard Rock Lodge offers modern conference facilities with a capacity of up to 30 pax. They also have also Library services.

Dining

Leopard Rock Lodge offers a 6 course Dinner meal which includes the Starter, Soup, Hors D’oeuvre, main course, Cheese and Coffee or tea. Lunch includes a 3 course meal along with coffee or tea with pastries. Breakfast includes a multitude of items such as bacon, eggs, crepes, croissant and much more. Everything at leopard Rock lodge is freshly made and prepared the very day it is served.
