This Safari will take you to Ngorongoro Conservition Area where you get a clear view of collapsed volcano. On the third day you will depart for Lake Manyara National park.

The park covers 330 sq. km, 70% of which is occupied by the lake. The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forests, acacia woodland and open grassland along the lake shore and sustains a wealth of wildlife.

Depart on day 4 for Arusha to pick your international flight.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: ARUSHA – NGORONGORO | You will have Lunch at Impala Hotel, Arusha, at 1230 hrs. Than depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area at 1400 hrs.

On arrival dinner will be served at the lodge. The lodge sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater from where you get awesome views of the collapsed volcano.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Similar

Day 2: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA | After breakfast, transfer to 4 wheel drive vehicle which will take you 2000 ft down to the crater floor and a picnic lunch. Spend the rest of the day game viewing on the floor of the crater.

You will have spot animals such as lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and many species of plain animals- wildebeest, zebra, reed buck, Thompson gazelle and many more. You will have packed picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Large concentrations of game are to be found in addition to the rare birds in the Sanctuary. Return to the Lodge in the late afternoon Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 3: NGORONGORO – LAKE MANYARA | After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

At 1500 hrs- you go for an evening game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park covers 330 sq. km, 70% of which is occupied by the lake.

The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forests, acacia woodland and open grassland along the lake shore and sustains a wealth of wildlife, including the Big Five -lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo.

The park is famous for the elusive tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the Rift Valley. It is also an ornithologists? paradise and is host to over 400 species of birds.

You will spend the night at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 3 After breakfast, leave for Tarangire, arriving for Lunch. Afternoon game drive through the Park. Tarangire National Park, which is home to a huge variety of animals and bird species.

Day 4: LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA | Breakfast will be offered and later at around 1000 Hrs drive to Arusha. Drop off Arusha at Impala hotel for lunch.

Lake Manyara National Park Remarks: The above prices are based on a minimum of 2 persons. A price reduction is available for numbers above two persons. Six persons may enjoy up to 25% saving on the per person rate!

When arranging for your international air tickets, note that it is usually cheaper to disembark at Nairobi in Kenya. You then take a shuttle bus to Arusha at a cost of US$ 20.

This shuttle bus leaves at 0800 and 1400 hrs daily from either Nairobi or Arusha. The drive takes 5 hours. If you wish to make use of this option, please indicate so.
