Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 
After breakfast, drive from Gondar to Sankaber-Jinbar road of the Simien Mountains/The Roof of Africa/ and turn left to start the real trekking. Then, trek to Geech.

Overnight Camping at Geech camp for two nights.

Day 02
Morning trek from Geech to Imet-gogo one of the beautiful sites. Afternoon trek around Geech to the sites called Seha’a and Kedadit.

Overnight Camping at Geech.

Day 03
Trek from Geech to Chenek. Overnight in camping.

Day 04
Trek from Chenek to Ambiko. Overnight Camping.

Day 05
Trek from Ambiko to Ras Dashen, the highest peak of the Simien Mountains 4620m ASL. Then back to Ambiko for overnight camping.

Day 06
Trek from Ambiko to Chenek. Overnight Camping.

Day 07
Trek from Chenk to Amba-Ras or Sankaber and then pick up by car to drive to Gondar. Overnight at Gondar.
